"Usal" is the Maharashtrian version of stir-fried beans curry. Beans are optionally sprouted, and fully cooked with freshly made spices to make it "Usal".
BB's Usal Combo is a flavorful combination of "Matki usal" (Moth beans sprout usal) made in konkan style, "Moong usal" (Green gram sprout usal) made in Goan style, "Masoor usal" (Legume beans) made in Marathwada style, "Chana usal" made in Nagpur style, "Vatana usal" and "Chawli Usal" (Black eyed beans) made in Pune style. You can enjoy these curries: (1) with salad or (2) as a soup by mixing little water and heating it up or (3) with your own choice of carbs - bread/chapati/rice.
Matki Sprout Usal: Sprouted moth beans cooked using the spice mix made from onions, tomatoes, young coconut, jaggery, and special Maharashtrian spices.
Moong Sprout Usal: Sprouted moong beans cooked using the spice mix made from young coconut, jaggery, and other Indian spices.
Masoor Usal: Brown lentils cooked in the spice mix made from dry coconut, onions, garlic, ginger, onion, tomato and other exotic spices.
Chawli Usal: Black eyed beans are fully cooked to perfection with curry leaves, ginger, garlic, Onion, tomato and other spices.
Chanyachi Usal: Black chickpea beans cooked in the spice mix made from dry coconut, onions, garlic and other exotic spices.
Vatanyyachi Usal: White peas are cooked to make them more creamy and wholesome with curry leaves, ginger, garlic, and other spices.
